New Cameras have arrived!!!

UART Camera

To be implemented immediately for integration!

HH # 3… DONE!!

Every team member passed the third happy hour.

Integration phase will start tomorrow!

Camera module has been changed…

The camera module has been changed from an I2C interface without PCB to a UART interface with PCB. The change was due to complications on the implementation of the I2C connection and connection speeds. The selected module is a CMOS Camera with a VCo706 ViMicro chip with UART connection, 3.3V, 150mA and 4800-115200 baudrate speeds.

New Camera datasheet here.

Meanwhile and for the happy hour we will use Vigilantech’s camera from LinkSprite, datasheet here which is very similar to our new camera but TTL instead of CMOS.

Happy Hour # 2 Scheduled for April 10th!

For HH #2 we are still missing a functional android app and to get the camera working.

Edward has started work on the integration of the servlet from the GSM module to the database.
